Blair Family YMCA Group Fitness Instructor

Group fitness instructors facilitate safe, enjoyable, and positive group classes for all skill levels, aiming to accomplish the ymca mission and build community within the class. Responsibilities include leading energizing classes, supporting participant goals, maintaining knowledge of wellness trends, and accurately recording class attendance.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a current nationally recognized group fitness certification. Required qualifications also include the ability to communicate effectively with large and small groups, work independently, pass a background check, and complete mandatory ymca cause/Culture, fitness-Specific, cpr/Aed, first aid, and abuse prevention training.
