To provide clinical services to families and children with intensive needs.
To provide client centered services in multiple settings (office; in-home; community, as needed).
Provides individual, family, or group counseling services to parents and children in their home, in the office, or in the school. Provides parent education and consultation.
Makes home visits to support families. Facilitates communication between agencies on behalf of the child. Attends team meetings to plan and monitor services. Provides case management, collateral contact, and social support.
Provides consultation services to teachers, school personnel and other professionals. Consultation can be educational or evaluative.
Attends all UCS and community meetings necessary to promote coordination and communication. Follows all UCS record-keeping procedures and performs other duties as necessary.
*In addition to the above, performs other duties as assigned.
Requires a Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field with relevant experience. Candidates must hold or be on track for licensure in Vermont as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Psychologist.
