Overview

• Tummy Time Academy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in a career that schedules around your life, works 1-on-1 with families, and brings out your inner child and creativity. Our dedicated admin staff alleviates the pressure of doing prep & paperwork at home, so you'll be able to focus on doing therapy. As an early intervention SLP, you'll be helping children ages 0-3 and teach families on how they can help their child achieve their established goals!

• Like: Providing 1-on-1 speech therapy to children ages 0-3 years old at their everyday settings (i.e. family's home, daycare, playground, library) using toys & routines based on that location. Travel to location of session (family's home, daycare, playground, library). Reflecting with family on progress since last session. Observing & assessing your assigned child's skills to determine strengths/needs as it relates to their goal. Demonstrating activities for your assigned child by adapting play to focus on addressing concerns in expressive language, receptive language, and social communication. Teaching & guiding families on adapting their play and problem solving on how they can fit these activities into their daily routines to assist with achieving their goal. Sharing and reviewing the session note with families using family-friendly language via provided technology and email at the end of session. Collaborate and meet with other professionals who are part of child's multi-disciplinary team to share quarterly progress reports and plan/update the child and family's speech therapy plan as needed. Initial and annual evaluations are completed by a different team

Qualifications
