Paraprofessional, 1:1 secondary special education - 9th-12th grade

Provides individualized academic, behavioral, and daily living support to secondary students with disabilities as outlined in their ieps. Monitors classroom activities and collects data on student goals under the direction of a special education teacher.

Must meet paraprofessional qualification standards and pass annual district-Approved exams for de-Escalation and physical restraint. Requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting students and providing medically invasive procedures as trained.
