Teacher, itinerant adapted physical education

The adapted pe teacher will collaborate with various staff and parents to implement individualized education programs (Ieps) for students needing adapted physical education services. Key duties include performing comprehensive evaluations, providing direct specialized instruction, offering consultative support to general education teachers, and maintaining accurate documentation regarding student progress.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in physical education (K-12) and a valid colorado department of education (Cde) teaching license, with a master's degree preferred. Preferred qualifications include a special education or adapted physical education endorsement, relevant coursework in ape, and experience working with students with disabilities and their parents.
