The Academic Faculty-Adjunct position supports the ongoing implementation of academic nursing programs which are aligned with the college's mission.

Academic adjunct nursing faculty members are responsible for providing high-quality education, training, and evaluation to nursing students.

Adjunct nursing faculty collaborate on curriculum review, revision, and development in all related educational settings.

Education Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing plus 5 years nursing experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Doctoral degree is required for Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs.

Experience Qualifications

1 year of experience in nursing is required.

Experiences in higher education or clinical education is preferred.

(This experience level is required in addition to the experience that would be required in lieu of education if colleague does not meet Master's Degree requirement.)

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required.

Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license is required for master’s Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track.

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Requirements

A Master's degree in Nursing is required, though a Bachelor's with 5 years of experience may be considered. Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and have at least one year of nursing experience.
