Preschool Teacher - Head Start - Jefferson

The head start teacher promotes the social-Emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development of preschool children through curriculum implementation and active classroom supervision. They also partner with families and staff to conduct assessments, facilitate parent involvement, and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.

Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma or ged along with a cda or associate teacher certificate, with higher-Level degrees required for specific teacher tiers. Applicants must also pass background checks, physical examinations, and drug screenings, and obtain necessary certifications like cpr/First aid.
