The paraprofessional assists teachers in preparing educational materials and provides direct support to students individually or in small groups. They also manage daily classroom routines, monitor student activities, and maintain learning environments.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or ged and pass the gace para assessment or possess at least 60 semester hours of college credit. Additionally, the role requires the ability to obtain a georgia psc paraprofessional certificate and perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds.
