Special Education Paraprofessional- Categorical Special Education Paraprofessional- Categorical

The paraprofessional assists teachers in preparing educational materials and provides instructional support to students individually or in small groups. They also manage daily classroom routines, monitor student behavior during non-Instructional times, and maintain learning environments.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or ged and pass the gace para assessment or possess at least 60 semester hours of college credit. Additionally, applicants must be able to obtain a georgia psc paraprofessional certificate and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with children.
