Job description
- The University of Pittsburgh Johnstown invites cover letters and resumes for immediate review for the position of Assistant Men’s/Women’s Soccer Coach.
- Pitt-Johnstown is a long-term member of the NCAA Division II and a 13-year member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coaches of both the Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams in all areas of the soccer programs, including: recruitment of high quality student-athletes, academic success of the student-athletes, practice preparation, travel, equipment procurement, fundraising, game preparation, film exchange, and additional duties as assigned.
- The assistant coach will also be responsible for supporting the head coaches in upholding the philosophy, goals, and mission of the University, the Department of Athletics, and the Soccer program.
- Prior coaching and/or college playing experience is preferred.
