Job description
The EHR Training and Content Development Specialist is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include the implementation, optimization, and adoption of the NextGen EHR across clinical, behavioral health, residential, and administrative departments. This role develops training materials, translates workflows into effective EHR processes, and ensures staff are equipped to use NextGen efficiently.

- Develop clear, user‑focused training materials tailored to clinical, behavioral health, and administrative workflows.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of instructional design and training processes.

- Create job aids, quick‑reference guides, e‑learning modules, and instructional videos.
- 4.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create educational materials.
- 5.
- Create engaging and valid training evaluation exercises to measure training effectiveness.
- 6.
- Deliver in‑person and virtual training for providers, clinicians, behavioral health teams, care managers, and administrative staff.
- 7.
- Build educational materials using a variety of techniques (e.g., online courses, manuals, quick reference guides).
- 8.
- Support onboarding and ongoing training for new NextGen users.
- 9.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure all content meets regulatory and workflow requirements.

- Analyze clinical, behavioral health, and administrative workflows and translate them into efficient, compliant EHR processes.

- Support system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of workflows.

- Assist with ongoing system optimization, updates, and enhancement requests.

- Maintain version‑controlled documentation of changes and updates.

- Work with Hope Network Human Resources to best utilize the learning management system.

- Systematically evaluate the efficacy of educational programming and strive for continuous improvement.

Position Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree preferred 2.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the field of education content creation.

- Experience working with NextGen EHR in clinical, behavioral health, residential, or administrative settings preferred.

- Experience with learning management system development and maintenance.
- 5.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
