26-27SY Teacher, Full-time-School Counselor 7-12

The school counselor provides individual and group counseling to foster academic, personal, and social development for students in grades 7-12. They also serve as a primary resource for crisis intervention, dropout prevention, and post-Secondary planning while collaborating with families and community agencies.

Candidates must hold a master's degree in school counseling from an accredited institution. Additionally, a valid commonwealth of pennsylvania instructional specialist certificate for secondary counselor or prek-12 school counselor is required.
