The behavior therapy assistant implements positive behavior support plans and teaches functionally equivalent replacement skills to students. They work under the supervision of a licensed behavior specialist to provide individual support or classroom assistance in charter school settings.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold an associate degree or higher in a related field and/Or possess a current rbt certification. Experience working with children with disabilities and reliable transportation for travel between school sites are required.
