- Proctor is expected to be detail-oriented, ethical, reliable, and have a keen eye for observation.
- Supervising Examinations: Oversee examinations to prevent cheating and ensure fair administration.
- Create an environment conducive to testing and verify the identification of test-takers.
- Monitoring Students: Monitor students during tests to prevent cheating and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure that all candidates follow standardized testing protocols.
- Setting Up Examination Rooms: Set up examination rooms, explain rules, and ensure that the testing environment is conducive for students to focus solely on their exams.
- Collecting Exam Papers: Collect and verify candidates' exam papers at the end of an exam to ensure accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.
- Responding to Issues: Respond to any technical or procedural issues that may arise during the examination process.
