Job description

  • Archbishop Borders School, located in Baltimore, Maryland, is excited to invite passionate and dedicated educators to apply for our full-time Kindergarten teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • As a dual-language school, we provide a rich, culturally diverse learning environment where collaboration and cross-language exploration are woven into daily instruction.

  • The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for teaching all subjects, monitoring the progress of students, and other aspects of classroom preparation and organization.
  • Knowledge of classroom technology and learning strategies is an asset.
  • Essential Functions
  • Follow the guidelines and tenants of the Catholic Church and the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
  • Provide supervision for homeroom before and at the end of the day.
  • Instruct grade specific classes in ELA, math, science, social studies, and religion classes (if Catholic).
  • Recess and lunch duties as scheduled.
  • Attend faculty meetings as scheduled.
  • Attend various school events such as Back to School Night, graduation, and Open House.
  • Position Qualifications
  • A practicing Catholic is preferred but not required.
  • Maryland certified or willing to pursue MD certification.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
