L.I.T Camp Counselor - Hickory

The counselor is responsible for supervising campers, leading age-Appropriate activities, and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment in accordance with ymca and licensing guidelines. They also handle administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, lesson planning, and maintaining facility cleanliness.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged and possess effective communication skills. Mandatory requirements include completing leadership training, obtaining cpr/First aid certifications, and passing background checks and tb testing.
