This is a non-instructional position for the school year.
This part-time position requires approximately 15 hours per week in the afternoon.
As an aftercare assistant, you will assist in the supervision of students in grades Pk3-8 in the school's aftercare program.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise students during all after-school activities.
Ability to work with various age/grade groups.
Aids students with homework.
Implements age-appropriate activities.
Monitors safety for students always.
Accompanies younger students to the restroom.
Maintains discipline and decorum.
Maintains a clean and organized classroom.
Other duties as assigned.
State of Florida law requires fingerprinting and clearance through the Florida DOE Background Screening Clearinghouse for all school-based positions.
