Core responsibilities
The teacher in training is responsible for developing and implementing classroom instructional plans and individualized educational plans (Ieps) to support student academic and behavioral success. They also provide leadership to teacher assistants and collaborate with school staff to ensure integrated support and treatment for students.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and/Or new york state certification as a teacher assistant, with at least 2 years of experience in an educational setting.
