About the Role
Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in both didactic (theory) and clinical/lab settings. Teaching essential skills: medical terminology, vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, EMR documentation, and more. Guide students through clinical externships, working closely with site supervisors and placement coordinators. Mentor students with academic advising, tutoring, and professional development support. Participate in curriculum review and program improvement to keep our standards aligned with current medical trends. Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment that emphasizes professionalism, ethics, and patient-centered care. What you bring: Medical Assistant with many years of experience and a desire to teach. At least 3 years of recent clinical experience (ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred) Strong working knowledge of medical assisting skills, or willingness to be trained A passion for teaching, coaching, and student development Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Comfort teaching in person
