Job Summary Responsible for supporting the execution and development of simulation-based training programs in healthcare education. Ensures the proper functioning of simulation technology, provides technical support during simulations, and assists in scenario setup and implementation. Collaborates with educators and healthcare professionals to enhance the learning experience through effective simulation activities. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions-Sets up and operates simulation equipment, including manikins, audiovisual systems, and medical devices.
  • Assists in the design and implementation of clinical scenarios, ensuring realistic simulation environments.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots simulation equipment to ensure functionality during training sessions.
  • Provides technical support and assistance during live simulations, including operating simulation control systems.
  • Supports faculty and instructors in the effective use of simulation technology for educational purposes.
  • Documents simulation activities, equipment usage, and performance data for quality improvement.
  • Manages the inventory of simulation lab supplies and coordinates the maintenance of equipment.
  • Trains staff and instructors on the proper use of simulation tools and technology.
  • Assists in evaluating the outcomes of simulation exercises and providing feedback for program improvement.
