The Athletic Trainer serves as a liaison between patients, providers, and athletic staff while providing sports medicine coverage to local schools and teams. They are also responsible for promoting and administering the Acceleration Program.
The Athletic Trainer works under the supervision of leadership. Serves as the liaison between patients, providers, nurses, Athletic Director and physical therapists. This individual also plays a key role in the sports medicine out-reach program including providing coverage to local colleges/universities, high schools, and/or other area teams and sporting events.Maryville specific: Promotes and Administers Acceleration Program.
