Family Support Worker

The family support worker builds partnerships with families to support self-Sufficiency, child development, and school readiness. They facilitate goal setting, conduct home visits, and coordinate community resources to ensure family well-Being.

Candidates must meet florida statute requirements for age, medical, and moral character, and successfully complete a level 2 background screening. Within eighteen months of hire, the employee must obtain a family development credential or certification in a related social services field.
