About the role

The aide assists the lead teacher with daily lessons, classroom routines, and student supervision in both one-on-one and small group settings. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and faith-centered environment while modeling Catholic values.

Job summary

St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Gildehaus is seeking a joyful, dependable, and faith-filled Kindergarten Teacher’s Aide for the upcoming school year. This position supports the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is committed to supporting their academic, spiritual, social, and emotional development in a Catholic school setting.

  • Assist with lessons, activities, and daily classroom routines
  • Work with students one-on-one and in small groups
  • Help maintain a positive, faith-centered environment
  • Support classroom management and student supervision (recess, lunch, etc.)
  • Prepare materials and keep the classroom organized and safe
