The Group Swim Instructor is responsible for preparing swim lesson plans, communicating with participants and their families, and ensuring safety during lessons. They must teach with enthusiasm and professionalism while adapting lessons to meet individual needs.

Compensation We’ll pay you an hourly rate of $17.00- $18.00.
About the Job We need you to fill the role of a Group Swim Instructor.
This is a Seasonal, Non-Exempt position.
You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities: Preparing swim lesson plans to meet the goals of each swimmer.
Communicating directly with swim lesson participants and their families.
Adapting lessons to participant age, physical ability, and interests.
Ensuring the safety of swim lesson participants.
Teaching lessons with enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism.
Effectively communicating progress with participants following each lesson, or with parents regarding their child’s progress.
Arriving to work on time, as scheduled.
Must be at least 15 years of age. American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification is preferred. To be obtained 30 days post-hire: CPR/AED/First Aid Pediatric and Adults certification, Dell JCC Swim Instructor Certification Pass all required criminal history background checks (which may, depending on the position you are hired for, include an FBI fingerprint check).
