The Role

We're looking for a morning Performance Coach to lead our early training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. This is a part-time role built around a consistent, high-energy schedule — ideal for a coach who wants dedicated hours, a motivated group, and the freedom to do what they do best.

The 5

30 AM crowd is a specific kind of athlete. They're disciplined, self-motivated, and they chose the hardest time slot on purpose. Your job is to match their energy, deliver a great session every time, and make them glad they set the alarm.

The right person for this role is technically sharp, naturally motivating, and takes real pride in the quality of every session they run — regardless of how early it starts.

Schedule

Tuesday and Thursday

5:30 AM class Additional hours available throughout the day and evening Part-time with potential to expand What You'll Do

Lead the 5

30 AM group training session with structure, energy, and intention Deliver programming focused on strength, speed, agility, and conditioning Modify workouts in real time based on athlete fitness levels and movement quality Teach proper technique and hold athletes accountable to form and effort Build genuine relationships with members and track their progress over time Keep sessions running on time and on brand — every single morning Represent D1 North Shore with professionalism before, during, and after each session

Qualifications

NCCA-accredited certification preferred (NASM, NSCA-CSCS, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent) Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required Minimum one year of coaching experience in strength and conditioning, group training, or personal training Athletic background — collegiate, high school competitive, or equivalent — strongly preferred Early morning availability is a must; reliability is non-negotiable Energetic, coachable, and genuinely great with people of all ages and ability levels Compensation & Perks

$25–$45 per hour based on class enrollment and/or class type Free D1 Training membership — use the facility on your own time Continuing education support through D1 events and company-sponsored opportunities Performance bonuses and D1 uniforms provided A coaching environment that takes quality seriously — your work here means something Why D1 North Shore
