The Specialized Therapeutic Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. They also lead classroom activities, direct instructional aides, and maintain a safe, positive learning environment using a PBIS framework.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree and a current Pennsylvania Professional Certificate in Special Education. Experience in classroom management for students with developmental disabilities is preferred.
