Child Advocate

The child advocate provides crisis intervention, support, and advocacy for children and families residing in the shelter. They are responsible for facilitating educational activities, maintaining safety plans, and documenting client interactions according to agency policies.

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or at least 3 years of relevant experience. Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of trauma-Informed care and the ability to work effectively with survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
