Special Education Paraprofessional (part-time)

The special education paraprofessional supports the academic and behavioral success of students with disabilities under the guidance of a licensed teacher. Responsibilities include implementing iep accommodations, assisting with classroom routines, and monitoring student behavior.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and meet specific idoe requirements such as college credit hours or passing the para-Pro assessment. Strong communication skills and the ability to pass a background check are mandatory.
