The teacher will develop students' attitudes, skills, and subject competencies to support their spiritual and educational growth. They will focus on providing specialized support for students with special needs within a Christ-centered environment.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and be eligible for ACSI teaching certification. Experience working with students with special needs is required, and Wisconsin special education certification is preferred.
The teacher shall be a mature, sincere Christ follower who feels called by God to the teaching profession Experience and/or willing to work with students with special needs Completion of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training (training provided) Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) teaching certification PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ACSI Certified Teacher State of Wisconsin certified special education teacher Familiarity with Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP) Three to five years teaching experience TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Position as Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher is 0.8 FTE (4 days a week with some flexibility) Starting Salary – $33,412; commensurate with experience.
