Physical Therapist Assistant

The physical therapist assistant provides therapeutic treatments to students under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. They are responsible for documenting student progress, communicating with staff and families, and maintaining accurate medical prescriptions.

Candidates must hold an associate's degree from an a.p.t.a. Accredited program and possess new york state certification as a physical therapy assistant. One to six months of related experience is preferred.
