Ex Ed Teacher

The exceptional education teacher is responsible for managing student caseloads, developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps), and providing academic and behavioral support. They also facilitate iep meetings, collaborate with general education staff, and maintain accurate data on student progress.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid tennessee teaching certification in

Special education (Endorsements

144, 145, 460, or 461). Knowledge of idea regulations and experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities in a school setting are required.
