Senior American Sign Language Interpreter

The senior asl interpreter coordinates and provides interpreting services for deaf or hard of hearing students while supervising part-Time staff and managing departmental schedules. They also collaborate with the sas team to provide student support, conduct workshops, and ensure compliance with professional ethics and college policies.

Candidates must possess an associate degree and at least three years of sign language interpreting experience, with a bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of a basic or level 1 certification from the bei or rid is required, along with strong communication and computer skills.
