Core responsibilities
The rise teacher is responsible for adapting lessons and developing individualized education programs (Ieps) to meet the diverse academic and behavioral needs of students with disabilities. They must also track student progress, analyze data to maximize achievement, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with families and school staff.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid texas state certification in special education. Experience working in a special education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities is strongly preferred.
