Core responsibilities
The behavioral support specialist implements behavior plans and provides on-Going training to camp counselors to foster a positive environment for all participants. They also intervene in behavioral incidents, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with staff and parents to manage behavioral outcomes.
Requirements summary
Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience working with children with emotional or behavioral concerns and possess a bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and a registered behavior technician certification are preferred.
