  • Overview: We are seeking a BE/BC Adult Psychiatrist with a primary clinical focus on addiction medicine. New graduates and Visa candidates are welcome to apply. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient. Academic responsibilities will include supervision of addiction and psychiatry residents as well as teaching medical students.

Requirements

MD or equivalent degree from an appropriately accredited institution. Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency training program or of an approved combined medicine-psychiatry or family medicine-psychiatry residency training program Candidate must be board eligible/certified in Addiction specialty (psychiatry or medicine) Candidate must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of North Carolina, have a current state and federal prescriptive authority as well as a valid DATA 2000 waiver to prescribe buprenorphine products for the treatment of addiction. Candidates must be eligible for clinical privileges at surrounding medical facilities.
