Direct Support Professional

The direct support professional teaches daily living and social skills to residents in a residential program to foster independence. Responsibilities include assisting with nutrition, hygiene, household maintenance, medication administration, and documenting client progress.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in human services or have at least 4 years of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities. Applicants are also required to possess a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain medication administration and public service certifications.
