The Early Head Start Center-Based Teacher creates a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for infants and toddlers (ages 0–3). This role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote social-emotional growth and support school readiness, all in alignment with Early Head Start Performance Standards and program goals. The teacher is responsible for the overall classroom operation, including effective classroom management, accurate recordkeeping, and maintaining active supervision of children.
