High School CTE - Medical Assistant - East Region

Performs direct patient care, clinical procedures, and general lab work under the supervision of a physician. Manages front office functions including patient registration, scheduling, and maintaining electronic medical records.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a current medical assisting certification (Cma, rma, ccma, ncma, or cmac). Candidates must also possess aha basic life support certification and knowledge of medical coding and safety regulations.
