  • Description: The Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation, and supervision of strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes. The goal is to improve athletic performance, reduce injury risk, and promote safe training practices for all sports programs. This position collaborates closely with coaches, athletic trainers, school administrators, and hospital staff to ensure programs align with sport-specific and athlete development needs. Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Science, or related field required 2. Current Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association 3. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification 4. Experience working with high school, collegiate, or professional athletes preferred 5. Strong knowledge of strength training, speed development, agility, and injury prevention
