Masters Swim Coach

The coach provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for swimmers while preparing practices and workouts according to ymca guidelines. They are also responsible for building relationships with swimmers and parents, maintaining records, and attending swim meets.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold certifications in cpr, aed, first aid, emergency oxygen, and lifeguard training or safety training for swim coaches. Proficiency in competitive stroke techniques and familiarity with swim management software like team unify and meet manager are required.
