The lead teacher is responsible for preparing and delivering kipp nc's curriculum, maintaining accurate records, and fostering a positive classroom culture. They are also expected to collaborate with coaches for professional development and engage with families and the community.

Candidates must possess a valid north carolina teaching license and a bachelor's degree in a relevant content area. A commitment to improving the lives of economically marginalized students and the ability to monitor classrooms actively are also required.
