Market context

Florida ITDS roles are in steady demand

In Florida, Infant Toddler Development Specialist roles are typically tied to early intervention and family support services, so demand often follows local program staffing needs and referral volume. Competition can be strong because employers usually want a bachelor’s degree, 1-2 years of related experience, and Florida ITDS certification or the ability to obtain a Medicaid provider number; bilingual Spanish or Creole skills can help. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your certification path and prepare examples of infant-toddler developmental support experience.
