Special Education Paraprofessional

Special education paraprofessionals provide instructional, emotional, and behavioral support to diverse learners under the guidance of teachers and case managers. They assist in implementing ieps, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma and an illinois state board of education paraprofessional license or equivalent. A bachelor's degree and bilingual skills in spanish and english are strongly preferred.
