Ex Ed Transition Academy Teacher

The transition academy teacher provides leadership and coordination for transition services, including developing iep goals and career plans for students aged 14 to 22. They also manage community-Based work programs, facilitate student recruitment, and provide direct classroom instruction in employability skills.

Candidates must hold a valid tennessee teaching certification in special education and a bachelor's degree. A minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience and knowledge of the transition process for students with disabilities are required.
