The Flex Teacher supports lead teachers in providing high-quality early childhood education and creating engaging learning activities. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment, performing light cleaning, and assisting with food preparation.

As a Flex/Float Teacher, you will support Apprentice and Mentor teachers in providing high-quality early childhood education, in alignment with our mission and vision. Flex teachers may be asked to substitute for another teacher as needed, as well as perform simple cleaning and food preparation. Flex teachers may be asked to substitute at other sites on occasion.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and able to pass all required background checks. Applicants must meet LARA licensing education requirements and be physically capable of working outdoors and lifting up to 25 pounds.
