Highly Qualified Social Studies Teacher, South County Academy

The teacher is responsible for delivering an engaging social studies curriculum to high school students with significant emotional or behavioral needs in a clinical residential setting. They must also develop and monitor individual education programs (Iep) while collaborating with the management team to ensure student safety and wellbeing.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in teaching or education and possess ri certification as a teacher of regular or special education. Experience working with children who have behavioral or psychiatric challenges is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and de-Escalation.
