Job description

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is looking for passionate Grade 1-5 Educational Specialists to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will work one-on-one with students who require reading/math/executive function intervention and support.

  • Role: Provide individualized instruction using evidence based instruction to support to students diagnosed with one or more of the following: ADD/ADHD, ASD, Executive Dysfunction Utilize our assessment tools to identify specific areas of need for each student. Develop and implement personalized learning plans that address students' unique challenges. Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed. Collaborate with parents and educators to communicate student progress and strategies for support. Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their reading goals. Bachelor's degree Special Education, Speech Language Pathology, or a closely related discipline. Certification as a Reading Specialist or SPED Teacher. Experience working with neurodivergent learning populations. Strong understanding of intervention strategies and evidence-based practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build rapport and encourage students to enhance their reading skills. Availability to work flexible hours, including after-school and weekend sessions.
