Middle School Teaching - Special Education Teacher, Extended Content Standards

Coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students while developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps). Monitors student progress, maintains classroom discipline, and collaborates with school staff and parents to ensure educational needs are met.

Requires a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s area. Candidates must also possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and the ability to perform medium physical work.
