Join Carter's Child Care and Learning Center as a Lead Childcare Teacher or Assistant Childcare Teacher, where you will inspire young minds in a nurturing environment. We are dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education in Wilmington, DE, and are looking for passionate educators to join our team!

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, providing guidance and support. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate with parents. Facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration and learning. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Attend professional development workshops to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

CURRENTLY hold a DELAWARE STATE ISSUED TECE1 & TECE 2, CDA or DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents. Knowledge of child development principles and early learning standards. CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Passion for nurturing and educating young children. Positive attitude and a commitment to creating a supportive learning atmosphere.
