Position Summary

The Instructor for the Empowered 4 Life Center will facilitate academic development for students by providing practical classroom training and instruction, all in an effort to promote students’ growth towards Appropriate Independence™.

• PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Instruct classes as assigned, incorporating differentiated instruction to promote learning for all students.
• Evaluate the academic needs of students and assist in the selection of appropriate curriculum materials which meet the needs of students and the objectives of the program.
• Present lessons utilizing effective instructional methods.
• Assess students’ knowledge, understanding, and skill acquisition regularly.
• Complete and maintain student records, including attendance and grades, on an ongoing basis. --- Not the right position for you?
